Verify a Ticket

Buying a festival ticket from someone privately? Check that it is real before you pay.

Choose the pass type, enter the seller's email, and you will get a simple yes or no: does that email currently hold a valid pass of that type.

A "yes" means that email holds a valid, active pass of that type. That is a good sign.

A "no" can mean one of two things: the person does not hold a valid pass, or they simply have not switched on verification for it. So a "no" on its own is not proof of anything. Ask the seller to turn on "Allow buyers to verify" for the ticket, then check again.

Ask the seller to transfer the ticket straight to your email. Once you accept, the ticket is truly yours and a fresh QR code is made, so the seller's old code stops working. You do not need to have an account to receive a ticket. One will be created for you automatically when someone transfers a ticket to your email address.

Remember, an Admission Ticket is what gets someone into the festival. Vehicle and Early Entry passes are add-ons and do not grant entry on their own.
